I was going to start a separate thread, but it seemed more appropriate to put this here. Cannot say how many people are interested in our Earth Mother, but if you don’t know where to start and have an interest in contributing to her well being, here is a list of what I consider to be the most visionary environmental works of the past seventy years:

Rachel Carson, Silent Spring
Thomas Berry, The Dream of The Earth, and The Great Work
Bill Devall, Simple in Means, and Rich in Ends.
Duane Elgin, Voluntary Simplicity
David Abram, The Spell of the Sensuous.
Chellis Glendinning, My Name is Chellis and I am in Recovery from Western Civilization, and Off the Map, An Expedition Deep into Empire and the Global Economy.
Charlene Spretnak, States of Grace: Spiritual Grounding in the Postmodern Age.
Black Elk Speaks.
Tom Brown, The Vision.
Ken Wilber, Sex, Ecology, and Spirituality.

Thanks for bringing peoples attention to Earth Day, Earthling.

Thank you Chris:
I'm out in Eureka, Ca., my mother passed away on March 15th, 2:00am in the morning. She went pertty quickly. I flew here from Baltimore, Md. I have to support my brother, he's sad as well. She was a good woman, and I was trying to get out of sooner, now she's gone. Well we're all going to go some day.
PEACE & BLESSINGS!
LINDA

Thank you! I use to live in Ukiah. I'm very sad and just trying to deal with things. I love this part of the country, though. Take care!
