I heard last week on the TH show about harmful emmissions from cell phones the gentleman on the show talked of hollow tube ear phones as a safety eature where can i find them?

I guess that proves once and for all that it's safe to yak on the cell and drive at the same time.

I almost got run down (but for my alertness,) by a woman making a left turn at an intersection with the cell phone in one hand and gesturing talking with her other hand. She appeared to be completely unaware of my presence.

I truly despise cell phones, even though I use one. When I do, I am very conscious of how other's use of the dang things affects me, and I move away from other people and treat it like a private conversation.
I saw a wonderful sign, in a cobbler shoppe, that lays out the rules of engagement. It says that if the customer is on a cell while "engaging" with the cobbler, the cobbler will find something else to do, until the conversation is over.
