His favorite quote,

quote:
The longer I live, the more beautiful life becomes.
-Frank LLoyd Wright

You told me "you must learn to think for yourself" I did.

You told me "don't listen to what they say. Go see."I did.

"in the emptiness there is no forms,no feelings,no perceptions, no mental formations, no consciousness. There is no eye, no ear, no nose, no tongue, no body, no mind; no form, no sound, no smell, no taste, no touch, no object of consciousness. There is no ignorance and no extinction of ignorance no aging and death and no extinction of aging and death. There is no suffering, no origin of suffering, no cessation of suffering or of the path; no wisdom, no attainment and also no non attainment;"
-from the Heart Sutra-

Dad, You live in my heart, my mind and my actions. Your life taught me Love,Compassion and acceptance.

I miss your physical presence on the planet.

Born 2/1/1919
Passed on 10/22/2006

Your dad sounds like a very special man. I'm glad you had him in your life and that you have such good memories. Love never dies.

Wow. Thanks for bringing that insight to us, bamboo.

I'm really sorry to learn about your loss. 1919 was a good year.

I, too, lost someone who was born in February 1919, just this fall. We were good friends, and there was something about her time, and my time, and our time that jived, even though we were separated by a couple of generations.

My condolences, Bamboo.

My father was born in 1919 too; he died in 1991.

Kate,Lisa,Denise and Sue,

This heart feels your prayers and thoughts thank you.

Kate, I've heard that crying is our bodies way of releasing toxins. If thats accurate, I'm the cleanest human on the planet.

Yes, our old friends have emailed me with the new site. I look forward to spending time there. In the last several weeks I've been in the air more than on the ground. Once again Thoms' place has provided ground for me. Thanks to you all.
