Please, Lord, after all these years, make the affairs of our leaders less painful to consider.
pirate
Help me to feel the joy of each new day, when I know yesterday carried the best efforts of our leaders, the day before peace dove
And let me not worry about tomorrow too much, because others will always care heart
Thanks to my fellow blog-adders.

What's so silly about that? What would have been really silly is if you would have prayed to win the lottery, or for the early demise of your enemies. That would be a totally infantile image of God.

Gnarly (?may I say that?) I feel a blessing, this moment, and I am grateful. Are you a rabbi?

roflmao We have soooooomany folks on the world right now, I have no personal enemies now, (uhmm, I can't rule out calling 9-1-1)
lightbulb soooo, I sense my enemies and square my thinking with, "they got up this morn wanting me to choke." But I have reserved a private heart of hearts, which would kill none, but for money for my business' grand daily schemes to improve lots of my community....... Rather, typically 'outsmart' them whereas: 1)they'll perish tomorrow(?!), 2)but back to today, well, in two hours they 'might not make it', 3)but that would of course be THEIR problem!
Have a nice day, fellow! Tx!

My prayer doesn't make extraordinary claims.

If that was "silly" then I must be a fool fledged looney-tune because that was one of the most realistic and moving prayers I've heard in a long time.

Thank you for sharing your heart with the rest of us. Smiler

Today, I pray my thanks for becoming 51 this year, and for growing up and not becoming unfeeling.
I pray to reach 52, and move lithely.

That I may always feel completely about our human being President, Bush and his wife and children.

That I may defend myself, and not neglect my innocense. That we all will.

That my opinions will not overwhelm me, my unconventional family who I secretly love, or my friends. And theirs won't.

And that the Lord made 'time' partly for 'caring'.
And I'm not the only one that knows that!
(I ALWAYS knew that! Tx folks, we're not quitting yet...)
