If you're a registered voter in West Lane County... (and if you're not registered, you have until tomorrow --Tuesday, April 25th, to update or get registered!)... and you care about being represented, you owe it to yourself to check out Bill Fleenor! Wink

He's a non-partisan Independant, running against Anna Morrison, the incumbent Ultra-right-wing Republican of 8 years... who has a history of rubber-stamping the City of Eugene's desires, regardless of Lane County voter's concerns. Frowner

The River Road/Santa Clara Property Owner's Association supports Bill Fleenor for West Lane County Commissioner... www.rrscpoa.org

The City of Eugene, meanwhile, seeks to use a loophole in Oregon Law to isolate properties via encirclement, by way of Superfluous Street Annexations 'tacked on' to legitimate property annexation requests... thereby setting the stage for Forced Annexation to the City (!) Mad

This race will be decided in the May primary... stand up for your rights, and Vote!!! Cool

Is not the city of Eugene also trying to use the recent supreame court ruling on eminent domain to steal private property and hand it over to developers?

At least not officially, and not yet --that we're aware of--. BUT-- their tactics have made me consider that very likelihood... Eeker

On the plus side, Bill Fleenor is also a Fiscal Conservative... Cool

...and, he's a very strong public speaker! Cool

Definitely, not 'monkeying around', this man... he could 'go places' in office, beyond county commissioner, should he so desire... Wink

If you're a resident of one of the many areas of Lane County falling under the jurisdiction of the 'West Lane' Commissioner... and you haven't cast your ballot yet... It's not too late to make a difference! Wink
