Our economy is in the sad state it is largely due to the fact that greedy elements have been allowed to proceed unregulated. Too much power has been concentrated in the Federal Reserve Governing Board which operates out of Washington D.C. I have put forth a proposal which utilizes a Constitutional Convention to diffuse the power of the federal reserve and the big banking interests. AUTONOMOUS REGIONAL GOVERNMENT represents damage control for the very serious crisis we are now facing. See link below for more info:

Where can I get some of what you've been drinking?

First, there is no possibility of a constitutional convention.

Second, if one was invoked there would be no limits on what could be discussed. Do you want to take the risk? Suppose they decided to eliminate the first amendment. Cheney proposed something equivalent (he also threw in dislike for the fourth) in a speech today. Are you ready to go to prison for what you say in a blog?

I agree that a constitutional convention is way out of reach, and with so much blow back [world market confidence, whole generation of depression level standard of living--Weimar style,] just to question many aspects of the constitution, and possibly write an amendment requiring a generational[meaning every generation], sociological, economical, globally sensitive review and possible changes would be possible. The constitution is flawed, but perfection was never claimed, and many presumed flaws are really because the criminals in the executive branch ignore it.

Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction.
