I haven't seen much about this issue online, but I, like Cindy Sheehan, am still searching for the "noble cause" for which my son served two tours in Iraq. What I've found is that Saddam moved his currency out of dollars and began accepting Euros for his oil in 2000. Result: Shock and Awe. Chavez moved his funds out of US Treasury Bonds and into Euros, and found himself the target of assassination attempts. Now Iran has indicated it will be selling oil in PetroEuros instead of PetroDollars, and the president has indicated that Iran is the next target for the US.
