China has said that the Taiwanese president's move to scrap an agency dedicated to Taiwan's unification with the mainland will bring disaster for the island.
The ships are headed for the western Pacific for a six-month deployment. The first stop is at San Diego to pick up the carrier air wing.
Or are they heading for the Arabian Gulf?
