This kind of speech is considered blasphemous and is punishable by death.
What are your thoughts?
As a liberal I abhore the idea that any sort of speach should be considered illegal and punishible by any means and am opposed to the death penalty on principal for any crime.
What I always find amusing and irritating is how the right attempts to pretend that liberals and the left are somehow in support of the Islamic fundamentalists. When the reality is that Osama Bin Laden and other Muslim extremists are far closer ideologically to conservative Christians. Osama has a hell of a lot more in common with Jerry Farwell than he does with Noam Chomsky, If they were to swap speaches and switch out Allah for Christ and vice versa then you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Yeah, i wonder how many Muslims will be killed over this. Maybe if they bomb Iran that will help ... say a few hundred thousand dead to go along with those in Iraq, that might do it.
Meanwhile back in the intolerant West ...

You must have been beaten with a rolled up copy of the Constitution as a child.
I would think free-speech would be an issue you could at least offer some criticism of towards the Mohammadists.

Bavarian Premier Edmund Stoiber and the Central Council of Jews blasted "Valley of the Wolves -- Iraq" (Kurtlar Vadisi -- Irak) as anti-American and anti-Semitic and called on German cinemas to stop showing the picture.
Aparently it shows American GIs massacring innocent guests at a wedding party and scenes in which an American/Jewish surgeon removes organs from Iraqi dead to sell on.

when was the last time we saw Jerry Falwell running around with an AK 47, training christians to blow things up and kill people, your comparison is way off base and just a little juvenile. as for this woman, I think she is brave, makes good sense and I tend to agree with her. she shows alot more guts then most of our members of congress.
