The Democrats should approve all of the money that the president wants for his war immediately. There should only be one item attached to that request. With that money would come the mandate for a "Truman" commission to examine and clean up waste, fraud and profiteering in this war and the president's promise to cooperate with the commission on all levels.
First off how many times should the Dems continue to give this pres what he wants?
And if you think Bush, Cheney ,etc would ever cooperate, you are genuinly misinformed. This is a president who has order civilians not to appear under oath and has himself refused to appear under oath. Bush ahs no sense that the law applies to him.

Why should Congress give money for "His" war? It's his war, let him pay for it. Maybe the oil companies will chip in in their anticipation of future profits from the Iraqi oil.
Personally, I don't like paying for the killing of all these people on both sides for "his" war of resource conquest. Didn't like paying for the Vietnam War either to keep China from getting Vietnamese tin. At least Pres. Eisenhower was honest about it in his memoirs....no tin for China.
Pinocchio wouldn't know how to tell the truth about this war if he was put in one of his own torture chambers.
