It's called a National Constitutional Convention(Article V). It was placed there for a reason. The Founders knew that there would be a good probability at some point that the federal government would be hijacked by greedy interests. And that's why Ben Franklin responded,"A republic . . . IF YOU CAN KEEP IT"
when asked what kind of government the initial Convention produced. He knew as well that republics tend towards corruption. In any event,
you have a tool in Article V to deal with this problem . . . use it or lose it . . . and your nation in the process.
