This post is for Ron Rutherford: thank you for the birthday wish on your blogsite, but I would really appreciate it if you'd remove ALL references to me and my name. I prefer not to be the topic of another persons blogging. I prefer not to be the subject of another person's snooping into privacy, which you must have done in order to know of my birthday. Perhaps you could find another topic more interesting to write about? I've never been comfortable in the spotlight, so if you could just refocus I'd appreciate that very much. In return, I will agree to not initiate any future discussions with you as the topic, and to place you on "ignore". Thank you.

Ron is banned at the present time, so it is unlikely he will see your post. Best to contack him directly.

Thanks for the reply Bill. I don't want to contact him directly, because then he'd have my e-mail address too... although with his computer skills he may already. I just want him to leave me out of his bloggereality. I think he'll get the message, either by getting around things or through a friend on this board.

Strange.

I dont know the gory details, but I find it odd that someone would go after you Lisa. In my short time here, you seem a likable sort.

"Go after" may be inaccurate. Ron has a feature on his blog (I think) where he features a "Post of the Week". The post may not necessarily be good or bad, but Lisa just doesn't want the mention.

Well< I used to think highly of RR, he did give a good counterpoint, but memtioning a birthday of a poster is just plain weird!

Thanks slabmaster. As Gnarlodiouss has pointed out, "go after" is probably not the best description. I just don't want the attention, so I'm asking politely and firmly for it to stop.

So,

The life time subscription to the Limbaugh Letter that I am giving you for Christmas might be unappreciated???

LisaP,

I think Ron would have liked to have responded to you himself, However that is not possible at the moment. All references to you have been removed. As you are aware the Birthday reference came from Nos. as they freely were wishing you well. Nos is (was) a open site just like here, and he meant nothing by it, except Happy Birthday. I have always respected your view and temperament, I know he does also. Ron is a popular piñata here, some deserving, most not. If nothing else, the banning will hopefully teach him some things as it did me. It mostly taught me about hypocrisy and my own temperament.

Don’t be too hard on Ron, You asked to be removed from his Own site and he did so. The only traffic his site gets is from here and Nos. It is his personal site and as such can post whatever he likes. I don’t have to agree with it, you don’t have to either. If you are offended by something, talk to him about it. Believe it or not he is not entirely unreasonable. Prior to the new rules, he was not doing anything wrong in moving posts from here to his blog. We do that on a near daily basis moving information from one blog to another. Before coming back, He should have cleared his blog of material that violated the new rule (created solely in his honor). He is now paying the price for that. I personally do not care whether the material on his site is offensive or not. I find a lot of posts here offensive.

Rest assured you are not being stalked nor has he your email address. In fact I would even argue that in a larger degree Ron is the one being actively stalked by members both here and members at Nos. If only you could read the fascinating Anonymous posts he gets on his site. They certainly have a Miles Flare to them.

Loganthor, give Ron my appreciation for removing it. I thought he might, if asked. I thought I'd made it clear to Ron in the past that I didn't want to be a subject on his blog. Maybe I wasn't clear enough. I responded to him only once on his blog when he titled a post "Lisa". Neither you nor he understands my objections to how he took selected portions of posts from here and crafted them into something entirely different over there, so there is no point in going over that. I can't help how Ron is interpreted or treated by other people. My intention is/was to come here and discuss issues that matter to me. I'd like to say that I don't care if I find things offensive, but I do care and I'm pretty upfront about these things. The only worry I have about being stalked is that a potential stalker would die of boredom. It's good to know for sure how he knew about my birthday.

LisaP,

I will pass it along.

To be fair to Ron, At the time it was the only way to communicate with you regarding the things that you were saying. Everyone needs an outlet for ideas and his was taken away.

As I am acutely aware of from past conversations. Wink

By the way - Happy belated Birthday

I have also looked in from time to time. I got banned from even looking within five minutes. Someone??? knew my IP Address. Although my name comes up occasionally and not in a very fluttering way, nothing of any interest for me there. Hummers, Wine, Food and Plants are not my cup of tea. Although Miles has a couple of good ziggers occasionally. (love the dancing bug joke) smile wink grin

Loganthor, thanks for the birthday wishes. At my age I was hoping to let it slip by unnoticed, except for the birthday nap I treated myself to. I'm a member of about 5 different forums. Each has it's own "flavor" and interests. I wasn't a member of the Hartmann forums a long time ago when there was more of the spiritual, ecological and creative flavor. Now it seems to be mostly politics and social issues. On the family forum I belong to, we don't discuss politics or religion, it's too divisive.

To each it's own works for me.

btw, this will be the last thing I will talk about in regards to Ron, I'd like to drop this subject and move on: as I recall, the post titled "Lisa" was created before his original ban, not afterwards. As far as I'm concerned, if it's not something he could say to me here on the public platform, then he ought not create a special blog piece just to "talk" to me. I never told him not to address me on this site, nor did I ignore direct questions that were within reason of me giving an answer.

WOW... I have trouble keeping up with just one forum. BTW, I meant no disrespect about NOS, I just feel my ears burning on occasion. I personally find the site funny/entertaining on a purely hypocritical basis. Considering everything that was said in the "dark" times to have them then create a site with pass worded sections that threads disappear to, is a bit funny, that and along with the instantaneous banning of my IP address . As I said, They can do whatever they want as any blogger can, even Rant about ME.

IMHO I believe your letter was written on the 15th, Ron and I were banned on the 13th. I think it was a response to thinks being said in the aftermath.

Consider it dropped...

Your Welcome.

Since that is your 8th post, now might be a good time to review Thom's "terms of service" at the bottom of very thread.

Beyond that.... Great post.... Look forward to more words of wisdom from you. Razzer

My wife is planning on doing her "roots" tonight. More than likely, I'll be "dragged" into a discussion about it. Smiler

Well, I see someone quietly slipped away into the night. As always I enjoyed my talks with Lisa or as it now states: quondam.

But October brings about the usual birthday lists for myself so:
Happy Birthday to my wife, my brother, Lisa, Loganthor and anyone else I forgot.

PS: Take care Lisa.
