Two must see tv programs to air after all the hoopla following the Gonzales hearings this week to expose more of the Beelzebush administration's mendacity, corruption and incompetence. Prepare your recording devices for April 25 and 29.

Record of Iraq War Lies to Air April 25 on PBS:

Bill Moyers has put together an amazing 90-minute video documenting the lies that the Bush administration told to sell the Iraq war to the American public, with a special focus on how the media led the charge. I’ve watched an advance copy and read a transcript, and the most important thing I can say about it is: Watch PBS from 9:00 to 10:30 PM on Wednesday, April 25. Spending that 90 minutes will actually save you time because you’ll never watch television news again - not even on PBS, which comes in for its own share of criticism.

Tenet has never really explained his views on that comment. The 500-page book -- or more likely his "60 Minutes" interview on April 29, the day before the book goes on sale -- will be the first time he goes over that.

I hear he is a communist, devil worshipper, who like bestiality and employs illegals to work in sweat shops in his garage. Avid drug users and hasn’t paid his taxes in 10 years. Rumor has it, he talks his marching orders from KIM JONG IL.

Since you don't even believe it when the White House *admits* its lies, I doubt this movie will have any impact on you. Nor are you its target audience.

OOOOO The crazy audience. I was under the impression they don’t own TV's because of government mind control through subliminal messages.

Those pesky definitions....a smear campaign is, by definition, an exaggeration at best, a series of lies and defamations at worst, you know the programming of Fox News for example.....

That which is said about this administration may be hyperbole at times but, in general, contains the seeds if not the full flowering of the truth.

It must be pretty tough on you faithful Bushistas of late, with these pesky investigations turning up so much dirt that many republicans are deserting Bush in droves. Its called self preservation. I call it about time!

Yes (let's be honest here, PBS needs us to be excited about it so we'll send it money). But it's also for the neutral, and the *innocently* uninformed portion of the public.

Bush loyalists aren't even going to watch, and if they do they'll just laugh. They're too conditioned to avoid facts that might crumble the illusion.

funny coming from mister I dont watch TV. Of course I'm not going to watch. I have Stargate SG1, Stargate Atlantis, Battlestar Galatica, Naruto, Yugi Oh, Dancing with the Stars, Grey's Antomy and several other shows to watch before boring myself to death watching a propagandist piece. If there were lies, I would think someone of your caliber would be able to express this. But maybe we have to wait for PBS to break the news first. laugh

I guess as long as it does not interfere with my Lost show, I will have the popcorn hot and ready. Just like a good Dem I am just more against someone else. I just thank god every day that Gore the Bore is not in the white house.

We already see the great job that Dems are doing with more junkets.

Pretending I haven't doesn't mean I haven't. Don't make me pull out White House Press Conference records again! The McClellan ones are too funny!

Bill Moyers is not a partisan hack, he's intelligent and insightful.

Ronald and Loganthor, you''ll be happy to learn that the Moyers' show doesn't interfere with Lost or Grey Anatomy scheduling, and of course in these technologically advanced days we live in, one can always record. Or admit, that you just won't look at all sides or keep an open mind. You'll also be happy to learn that PBS is airing another show that week called Security vs. Liberty outlining the fine(?) line the Bush administration must walk to balance the two. I'm recording all of 'em, including Lost and Grey's.

Lies are tough things to admit to, either doing or falling for. Still, Iraq war aside, this administration has had the worst spending record, highest deficits, worst foreign policy, most intrusive, most incompetent in decades. But not a peep, not one little criticism from you. It's almost as if you think they can do no wrong. Yet, Pelosi puts on a scarf !!horrors!! or Gore presents his views on global warming !!the nerve!! and you guys act like piranhas at a KFC buffet. Sometimes I wonder if your love of paRty trumps your love for this country.

If there was a point to this sulky diatribe it was lost amidst the stunning childishness and banality....

Were Gore our President is a topic for science fiction but certainly we could conjecture that over 3000 of our children might still be alive today, some drowned in New Orleans would certainly still be with us and the rest might be redecorating their new homes by now, the world would like us a whole lot more and we might still have a balanced budget, economic prosperity and many more folks working for decent wages and good benefits. Oh to dream......

I do understand your sulkiness though, your brief neoconservative rule, begun with that execrable Boraxo salesman and talking head and ending amidst a flurry of investigations and convictions of this dry drunk, frat boy, father fixated little rodeo clown's administration.

Now you must return to the dustbin of history and become, as you folks always were, nasty little out of touch fascistas, resentful of the democratic process and concomittant equality of opportunity. So sad for you and so good for our nation.

Hey if you have to go to McClellan to prove Bush lied, that is kind of a strech. I'll wait for the transcipts of Moyers Show. I'm sure SOMEONE will post them.

Good to know. LOL. I also imagine YouTube will be showing it repeatedly also.

quote:
this administration has had the worst spending record

I would partically agree with that in the context of two wars and several national disasters.

quote:
highest deficits

Same answer as above.

quote:
worst foreign policy

debatable, I dont think we ever had a Good foreign policy in the last several decades.

quote:
most intrusive

O somehow I seriously doubt that. Shouldn't that also be allegedly the most intrusive? Seeing that Nobody really knows the extent.

quote:
most incompetent in decades

I'll give you that one. They certainly should be handling things better.

quote:
But not a peep, not one little criticism from you

I think Bush is a Dumbass in Immigration. Militarized the border, eliminate sanctuary cities, your caught, your out, only then can a more liberal immigration policy be offered in Mexico City. But you have to go to Mexico City to get it.

I seriously don’t think he handled Katrina very well. I would have him arrest the Governor and the Mayor, city counsel and any other government official guilty of corruption, money laundering, negligent, involuntary manslaughter and throw their ass’s in Gitmo.

I would love to have seen the Veto a lot more. But again, two wars and several national disasters.

I wish he was far more articulate then he is. But I love the backbone.

I like the way he is handling North Korea, much better then Clinton.

I wish he hadn’t put Bolton in the UN

Harriet Meyers was a disaster for SC

I'm sure there is all kinds of policy point we would agree on. Generalized statements like the "most incompetent" doesn't really sit well with me. Because I would never claim Clinton was the biggest Man Whore in office (politically and sexually). Too generalizing.

quote:
Gore presents his views on global warming !!the nerve!!

He is doing a tad more the "presenting his views"

quote:
Pelosi puts on a scarf !!horrors!!

There wasn't a peep out of me. Could care less. The message she carried from israel. Now that was something to behold. And illegal I might add. Razzer

quote:
you guys act like piranhas at a KFC buffet

heart love KFC. Does your have a buffet? Your's Rocks.

quote:
Sometimes I wonder if your love of paRty trumps your love for this country

Not at all.
