The now-Democratic Congress can ill afford to continue to lob soft serves over the net allowing the administration to make political points at the expense of our national pride and heritage. The legislature must begin to take drastic action to curtail the freedom of this outlaw regime. What can they do? They must immediately move to de-authorize the war. Failing this they must move to decisively cut off all funding for the war. Failing this, they must follow the action of Dennis Cucinsh and move to impeach both Bush and Chaney. Will this succeed, probably not, there may not be enough of those in congress who love their country enough to excise the evil that threatens it. There may not be enough time left to do this but at least it will provide the opportunity to dog and harass every step the axis makes. Perhaps they will have to listen to the American people for once.
