While even Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts are taught that flying the flag upside down is a sign of distress, a couple's home was invaded by police, and they were threatened with arrest, pepper spray and a tazer gun for signaling their feeling that the nation is in distress.
I'm torn between buying a flag and flying it upside down and finding another country to live in.
This was wrong. I hope the couple is fighting it. DRCope, I'm sure you already know that there is more than just the two options. You can stay and fight injustice, speak up, and shine a spotlight on these kinds of events. Sunlight is the best disinfectant.
