Ron is coming to town June 24th - 29th for a vacation and I am planning on coming to terms with the Beer I owe him.

We were thinking either Sunday 24th or Wednesday the 27th. It would be fun to gather local Thom bloggers and Thom (if I beg enough) to put some faces with the names and share a cold one. I will even buy first round.

So... who is interested, what is a better time, I’m open to suggestions on location.

I was thinking Patty's Irish Pub. It's quite, easy to get to from the Max Line and centrally located.

Max line cost the federal tax payers a bundle. Theft from Coloradans. I think you should repay it, and here you are implying that people should actually use it to get to a pub!

Tear it down, sell it for scrap and reimburse the taxpayers of Colorado so we can build our own.

This theft of one state from another is unconscionable. Please stop implying that people should actually utilize an object of such thievery. pirate

Your right the federal transit Administration paid dearly for our light rail project. Probably because the voters keep voting it down. I think it is a liberal social engineering project. But since it is there, I offer to the less fortunate among us , so they might share in the glow the awe that is Ron and I. I’m even offering first round with all my ill begotten capitalist greed money. What liberal would not want to take advantage of a stupid Con. For a fool and his money soon part.

Well, there is well-gotten capitalist "greed" money and ill-gotten capitalist "greed " money. I really don't know which category you fit in.

As long as you keep Say's Law intact, I have no problem with it. It's when you violate it we have a vast differing of opinion.

Don't park it in a safety deposit box, under your mattress or its equivalent (there are many) and you can earn and spend all you want. If it sets around doing nothing productively...then I have a differing opinion.

Much of what is considered productive use is nothing but speculative withdrawing of resources from the economy. It ultimately upsets the apple cart for everybody.

Enjoy the pub. Since your buying, I'll do my best to get all the Oregon Democrats to show up for the party. Like their Republican counterparts, they'll accept a round on somebody else. Can't guarantee they'll buy one in return. Couldn't guarantee the Republicans would either, so I won't invite them. Don't want you to go broke.

Seriously, do enjoy! Smiler

You come down, I'll make time for you. Of course I'll be hungover, I got "Cigars with Lars" charity event tuesday night. If Ron has the time, We three can hang out at the Red & Black Cafe. Brentbozo Would LOVE that.

If they have wifi, we could do a live Hartmann board posting.
Just think, tying Brent to a chair and surrounding him with neo-con propaganda, cigar smoke, and glutenous wasting of fossil fuels!
