Clint Curtis just won’t roll over. And that, fellow Americans, is a very good thing.

Curtis came to prominence a few years back when he blew the whistle on Republican congressman Tom Feeney (FL-24,) whom he alleges asked him to write an election-rigging software prototype. A lifelong Republican, Curtis did as asked, believing the program would be used to prevent vote tampering by the Democrats. Last year, Curtis switched parties and challenged Congressman Feeney on his own turf—running against him for his seat in Florida’s 24th district. Feeney fought as dirty as you can get, spending big bucks to paint Curtis as a wacko conspiracy theorist. According to official election results, Feeney trounced Curtis 58% to 42%--despite polls showing them running statistically dead even.

But Curtis smelled a rat. Backed up by polling and his remarkable online vote verification tool VoteNow 2006, (link to www.votenow2006.net) he did not concede. Now his is one of five Congressional challenges (link to: http://www.bradblog.com/?p=3986#more-3986) that have been filed.
