Sorry for the personal intrusion.

But I thought I would buck personal tradition and actually tell everyone instead of hiding it.

For some reason, my birthday THIS year seems to have a special feeling to it. Smiler

P.S. Can you tell I am indeed a true Scorpio? ha ha

Happy Birthday Strawberry!

Consider the election results your present this year.

Lest you forget how bad things were, here is an old cartoon from Feb 2003 that captured the frustration of dealing with the one party rule...

"These things which man purports to admire-the noble, the brilliant, the splendid-these are the very things he cannot tolerate when he finds them."-----Mark Clifton

Srawberry, Peewee,
The Happiest of days to both of you. Yes, the both of you are true to Scorpio, God help the rest of us. Peewee-50? shock I'm there next year I'll need you to keep me informed of the ups and downs (40 was a massive shock to the body and finding suddenly it would no longer do things as it did before and then every says "Isn't it weird how that happens to everyone at 40") I want to be warned if there's anything to expect before I get there!

To be fair, it was cystal plates and platinum spoons. Silver is far to "common"

I agree... 40 was a more sobering milestone. About five years ago, it became impossible to ignore/deny the physical changes. Mentally I like to think I'm still a 17-year old. Devil

Big Grin I watch teenagers who see me as some old lady and I want to say I'm a teenager too. I used to look at adults and think, it must be wonderful to understand everything, like some magical switch turned on at 21. If children only realized that there is no switch you are always the you that was a child. That child just lives on unchanged in many ways in an aging adult body that still thinks it's a kid. I keep waitingfor the real adults to show up and say, "Time to come in and eat, stop playing adult and get in this house, right now!" Wink

Ah, Strawberry is a water sign -- hope you are having a good personal year. God knows that it is a challenging one for peace and justice.

My birthday was this week. Like Louise Hartmann, I am a Pisces -- another water sign.

I, too, intend to have a good personal year. Much to do. And I will do what I can, with God's help. amen
