When the people talk about the government doing a job that is mandated by a legislative body they seem to not realize that the people that are enforcing the legislation are Americans. The people that are developing the legislation are Americans. It seems as thought that when a American is chosen to be a legislator or one of those chosen to enforce the legislation somehow become smarter then all other Americans. It seems as though once the American people chose these Americans to be our representatives to pass legislation and to enforce the regulations of the legislations passed into law, the rest of us should not perform the oversight of the representatives, bureaucrats, and enforcers of the laws. We have to remember that the representatives, bureaucrats and enforcers of the laws are just Americans and are not smarter then all the American people. We have to realize that many smarter Americans can do the same research that the bureaucrats of the agencies they run. We have to realize that the enforcers of the laws investigate the same a many of the smart Americans that done not apply for the jobs in law enforcement. The government of this country is a representative government; the government of the country is the people of this country. So went the government comes to help someone it is the people of this country coming to help someone. Went the government does not respond well to the needs of someone it is the people of this country not responding well to the needs of the people of this country. This why regulation is necessary to help the people govern this country. To regulate is to prove to the people of this country that the legislation and laws pass by our representatives are being abided and are being enforced by the people hired to enforce them. To regulate is what is judged to be fair by the American people and sets the rules which must be followed to ensure that the best interest of the American people are being looked after. The best interest of the United State is the best interest of the people, because the people are the United State. Business and the industry they represent are just monuments to the ingenuity of the people of the United States. Regulations are the way the people of this country ensure that there are checks and balances place one those that wish to do business with the citizens of the United States are doing that business fairly and the products are safe. Regulations are the way the people of this country ensure that adjustment can be made to programs of the agencies, which enforce the rules, to ensure that the people of this country are being treated fairly. Regulations give the guide lines to those agencies to help to enforce the rules. Regulations set guide lines on what punishments and penalties need to be placed on those that violate the rules that protect the people of the United State. We are the government and we need to be there for the people of this country.

I thought I'd just go on ahead, close the door, and turn out the light. Smiler

Which came first? The light or the door?

There was light before there were doors, and doors before there were light switches.
