I will show this smartass why my kid coined the name "Slabmaster" when we were fishing.

Can you hear this marlin saying "c'mon beotch white boy, catch me!" as he gives my the finger and makes one more dive into his perceived safety.
Margarita in hand, I vow to slay the beast utilizing my gold brick while staying carbon neutral.

Yours is bigger then mine.

To compensate, we laid waste to the Dorado & Snapper populations. We had enough fillet's to feed 20 people at the Shrimp Factory. (highly recommended for cooking for our own fish) only $5 each.

I'll be thinking about you in between the rum punches.

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.

The southern most peninsula, closest to Nevis. It is a really pretty island and the people are great. Quick with a smile and eager to meet strangers. The northern end is wetter and greener, the southern more arid. I can't wait to go back.

I am hooked on the Sea of Cortez!

Oh my!

Blue and striped Marlin, Dorado, Tuna, Roosterfish, swordfish, hammerheads, sea turtles, manta rays,

It was awsome fishing to say the least.
I have found the best fish tacos in the world.
Little town south of the border.

since this is a fishing thread, id like to share my buddy Dannys catch. it was his first snook. he was visiting from chicago and after losing the only 2 he hooked one day, he wanted to go again. he caught a nice snook and nice mackeral to go with it. he was quite pleased of the fight both gave him on light line with no leader.

no , the snook was released into the water unharmed. thats the great thing about circle hooks, they usually hook in the corner of the mouth.

here are some pics of a nice storm we had right before we left fishing there. i suspect there was some tornadic activity with this storm.

these 3 pics are actually the same one large storm. i took the first one looking to the north east, 2nd one looking east, and 3rd one looking se. one huge storm that cut short our fishing day.
