Tuesday June 26 is the special election primary for California’s 37th District (Long Beach, Compton…). The former congresswoman, Juanita Millender-McDonald, recently died of cancer.

There are over 11 democrats running in the primary, and the most progressive is Peter Mathews. Check out his website at http://www.mathewsforcongress.org/ or Google Peter Mathews.

#1 on his list is to support HR 508 to pull troops out of Iraq in 6 months.
#2 He wants to move toward Impeachment by supporting HR 333
And his entire platform is Progressive.
