We're consolidating some of the sections in the General section, and merging the "What Would Jefferson Do?" and "We The People" sections. This means that some discussions will be moved from one section to another. Hopefully it will be easier to find the right section for a topic as a result. Unfortunately, this means that any links to moved discussions will be broken. My apologies for this.

I think consolidation makes sense. The front page stretches out quite long.

I think there should be a section for "Conspiracy Theories" so that all the crazy people who post here have a place to network.
A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.

yes. I agree totally. All the crazies should be attracted to one place to, add all their words together. Might I suggest a festive 'pill' icon, in many colors and designs; pop up windows for authoring should be much, much bigger to enable, and well, accomodate a focusing; and their space for creativity should be like special, or PADDED with heart icons and of course quickly linked together with the others, encouraging to us to refine our philosophies!
