It’s not just what is currently owned but how much of the public property has been sold or given away since Bush was appointed president. The other question is not only how much of the U.S. land is owned by foreign corporations. With all the dollars being sent overseas since our trade imbalance these foreign corporations are using their excess dollars to buy our land.

I'm not absolutely opposed to corporate ownership of land, provided that the corporation is owned 100% by American citizens. IMO, only citizens should be allowed to own land. Also IMO we should only tax land/real property. Land is what we can control, seize, sell. You can't smuggle land to Switzerland or Grand Cayman.
