You're the ones who allow corporations to do bad things when you say the corporation did it. No, someone or a group of people did the wrong. Why are you allowing them to hide behind a sign or a name? Find out who they are and post their wrong doings in and around their houses and any churches they attend. Show their friends and family the evidence and then ask what they think of them now?

No name on wall has ever done any wrong.

When bad things are done and they are known and could be prevented, two groups are responsible. You have those who actually commit the wrong and then you have those who could have stopped it but instead empowered or at least didn't try and stop.

Let the crying end this night. Tomorrow, hold those responsible accountable.

sharon, you are so right about the two groups who are responsible for wrong doing. That is why i am helping to organize the peace vigil this summer in Oak Grove (see above). Stupid has got us into this war with lies and propaganda. It is unreal how much of our national treasure in lives and in cash has been squandered because of Stupid's agenda of making his rich friends richer than they ever have been. This has got to stop. I hope you and your friends and relatives will join me and other clackamas county democrats on saturday, may 20, to protest this needless and disastrous war.

Thanks,

nancy

Nancy, no one ever changed the world by posting on the internet or listening to the radio.

I don't participate in politics. I don't back a party or people because of their affiliation. Those actions were for a younger day. I actually shy away from any group calling themselves Democrats, Republicans, libertarians, etc. and especially those who hijack the word Progressive.

A call to action should be based on the merits of the event or person alone.

Had you just made it a protest of the war/corruption and dropped the party affiliation, I actually would have been there. But, again, only because it is the right thing to do. I might still drop by inspite of all the democrats running around.

Politics and all that come with it have ruined this country and yet we still always seem to run home to momma. What if we just cast our votes on right and wrong?

Thom:I strongly agree with your wanting the legal recinding of corporations being given equal political/legal status with people. But that will probably take a long political/legislative time to achieve.I would rather at this point go Carl Rovian, and manipulate the Corporations through the courts, by demanding that if Corporations are individuals, than all their legally protective rights are also ours(the rest of us non corporate individuals),guaranteed by the equal protection amendment of the U.S.Constitution! For example, the recent bankruptcy laws treat corporations differently than non corporate individuals;i.e.,us common individual folk!Which I believe would thus not be Constitutionally legal?...I'm not educated or professional trained in Constitutional law.Perhaps you or someone else in our forum could discuss my idea more cogently or elequently,if what I've just written makes sense.
