During the Robert F. Kennedy campaign for president, about 2 weeks before his assasination, the Senator from New York made a startling statement before the press, broadcast nationwide. He stated, "There is someone in our campaign who is a mole. He may say he is something other, but he is a nazi".

6 mos. ago, Michael Medved got a call on his show. The caller began by stating, "I find it hard to believe you worked in the RFK campaign as anything but a mole". Medved has many times claimed that he worked in the RFK campaign. His response to the caller was, "Perhaps I was".

Listening to his and that of the other right-wing nazi Goebbels radio rhetoric of Limbaugh, Skin Headity ... er, I mean, Sean Hannity, and the others, surely it is that of the 3rd reich nazi, plainly and simply.

The hate and spite in Medved's voice seems like he was ridiculed on the high-school campus (*with looks only a mother could love) and that he vowed someday to get his 'neener-neener' revenge on those who tormented him.

He himself is obviously very tormented and he seemingly has lost any semblence of reason, compromise, and rational thinking in his daily nazi diatribe, consumed with his 'neener-neener', 'I'm smarter than you' nazi rant.
He is utterly abhorent and and his rhetoric is an insult to his otherwise seemingly advanced education.

But hey, nazis always have seemed to lack the good sense gene anyway and have generally engendered a rather regular impression of abhorrence to their listeners when they get to talkin'. Maybe that's why these nazis are so evil and violent in the 1st place - they just are bound to stumble when trying to somehow explain their evil as a rational political philosophy - makes them more mad as it seems to result in a a cycle of more stupidity, violence, and then, attempts to explain it or somehow reverse-justify it, both in their own minds and to any rational incredulous listener.

Their audience exists amongst others similarly morally challenged, those also afflicted with this disfunction, who are also stumbling and desperate to explain their evil in some way, any way, any positive light. They do this by attempting to make evil those who are not thusly morally afflicted - through criticism, belittling, and bolstering their own irrationality with violence. I give you, "The good ole Days Inn, Georgia".

Blake Day, a State House rep. in Georgia and son of Days Inn's founder, wrote me an e-mail back when I asked if he was aware of the problem. His answer was, 'A previous owner of a car is not responsible for what the new owner does with it'. And then he followed in the e-mail with the Limbaugh-like, "hey, hey, hey". nazi humor, I guess - they love to watch you squirm for them.

Jack,

I remember reading Call of the Wild, and I remember learning how to spell Washington, with one "h" and without an "r" .... You see, when I read Call of the Wild, it was when I spake "Warshington" and that was *before* I developed the affectations of the striving, cloying, climbing middle class masses of Americans seeking to make "it" (that is, "life") a more palatable place than it began.

Jack London taught us, however, that the only real problem, and the only real solution ... has to do with some sort of elemental striving and conqurering and, at bottom, it's only about food and water and dominance.

Where are you in the food chain, Jack London?

Wink

Yer nuts. Michael Medved may be a mindless neo-con, but he's no Nazi. Uh, duh, he's an orthodox Jew and a dedicated monotheist. You sound far more reactionary than him, and your ad-hominums defeat your own points. Why not tell us why progressivism is a more attractive worldview than republicanism, and do its ideas stand on their own merits? If progressivism is only the negation, or opposition, of the right, it will never win enough converts to become the social mindset that governs our country.

What Lenin, Stalin, and Kruschev only hoped to accomplish with fired weapons -- Dell, Gerstner, and Fiorini have accomplished with fired workers.

Just because someone says they are a "JEW" does not mean they cannot believe in the thing called Nazism.

The Nazis feel they are better than everyone else. Just like PRescott Bush felt, while he committed TREASON, and should have been convicted for it. Some say he WAS convicted for it.
"Old Prescott was convicted by the U.S. government under the Trading With The Enemy Act in 1942 and fined one million dollars."

Really, calling Medved a "Nazi" is hyperbole to the max (is that redundant?).
He might be a simpleminded conservative no-nuance Jewish religious fundamentalist, but not a Nazi. Likewise with Shmueli Boteach.
Personally, I have more suspicion for Jews like Amy Goodman, who don't believe in anything and condemn everything. Just my opinion though.

quote:
Shmueli Boteach

Any Jew who supports Israle for the sake of Israle is a Zionist.
Shmeuli is a whacko zionist, so don't put him with the hide behind the skirt of Jewiskness Medved.
As for Amy Goodman, she beleives that the best thing to do is to protect America, not Israel. Remember America the homeland, the country.
HELLLO
My feeling is "**** Israel."
I could care less about Israel.
BTW it is no longer the ONLY democracy in the Middle East, did they think about loosing that mantle by supporting the Uber-fasicst Bush? Now what do they have for us Americans to hang our "we support Israel" stance on.
NOTHING!
Let them be just another in the mix of shit over there.

Neocons are already so far right of any American values, I don't know where Nazism ends and neocons begin. Stationing troops in Jeffeson Parrish to send away aid, and close down communicatoins, might be considered neocon, but to me that's Nazism.
