That's right, they removed the picture I uploaded to this page:
Thom Hartmann because there was no copyright attached to it. I spent about 45 minutes trying to figure out how to attach a copyright to the picture but there are no clear instructions.
In any case, it seems like the ultimate irony that here Thom Hartmann rails about greedy corporations every day, and we are all so intimidated that Wikipedia removes his picture from their website bcause they are afraid of some corporation suing them for copyright infringement.
So I do have an attitude over this incident, because the copyright laws default to the corporate interest.
A lack of any copyright, under current US laws, exposes Wikipedia to a lawsuit. This reminds one of being guilty until proven innocent. Of course, copyright laws were made to protect the intellectual property of writers, inventors and artists, but we see that now they only serve the interests of giant greedy corporations.
