I have since received an offcial warning to never ad hom anybody again, and that what I posted violates rule nr. 1.

Even though I feel that the person in question very clearly violates rules nr. 4 and 8, I am no moderator, and all I can do is point this out. I don't get to make the rules.

I must say that given the fact that rules nr. 4 and 8 are routinely broken on this site, I thought I may conclude that the rules are no more than a formality. I was wrong about that, and luckily so, I might add. Forum rules are necessary in order to maintain a productive line of discourse, and if you have rules, you will need to enforce them.

I would like to take this opportuinity to formally apologize for the above ad hom. I understand the idea behind rule nr. 1, and I understand that if I'm to be a guest here, I will have to abide by it.

To all readers who have been offended, I apologize.

Seriously, how do you think GG feels defending a rapacious institution that now has to pay millions of dollars to its victims. How do you think all the contributors feel now that they know they are paying for priests to buttfück little boys every time they put money in the basket?
