"....There is a special group of people who have come to the dead end and have resolutely begun walking the other way. They call themselves the Society of Centurions. They are former providers of abortion who have abandoned that practice and now embrace the sanctity of life. Their number includes physicians, nurses, paramedical personnel, technicians, receptionists, and security personnel. The Centurions form an international society, and a United States branch, the Society of Centurions of America, has recently been formed.

Some Centurions speak publicly of their journey into the abortion industry, and how by grace they were rescued from it. But that is not the focus of the Society. The focus, rather, is their own personal healing. Periodically, Centurions from around the world come together, and under the expert guidance of Dr. Philip Ney, a practicing child and family psychiatrist, walk the long and painful road toward healing. Dr. Ney has written a fascinating book, The Centurion's Pathway, describing this road. He explains how the wounds of personal abuse often pave the way for a person to abuse others by practicing abortion. He also describes how former providers need to personalize each of the children they have destroyed. Some, for example, will name and even make illustrations of each of the children they were responsible for aborting...."

"The Centurion who stood at the foot of the cross of Christ suddenly became horrified at the crucifixion he was ordered to carry out. When Christ died, this Centurion dropped his sword and fell to his knees exclaiming,
'Surely, this was an innocent man!'

"Those of us who have participated in the killing of unborn children are the Centurions of today. We have dropped our swords against the unborn child. Now we must recognize the depth of our guilt and deal with the ramifications...

To revitalize our humanity we need to forgive and be forgiven, to reconcile and be healed."

British Physicians Oppose Government Plan for Abortions at Doctors' Offices December 30, 2007

London, England (LifeNews.com) -- A new survey finds 86 percent of British physicians oppose a plan by the government to let doctors do abortions at private offices instead of following current regulations requiring them at hospitals. Such hospital standards are typically in place to provide emergency medical care to women or infants injured by botched abortions.

The Daily Telegraph newspaper conducted the survey and found that just 14 percent of the 2,175 doctors polled agreed with the idea.

About 20 percent of the physicians interviewed in the survey said they are pro-life and would not do abortions.

Most of the physicians did not express moral reservations to the government abortion plan but said that doing abortions would compromise women’s safety and add to an already-overwhelming workload. They said women who experience complications following an abortion may not be able to reach a doctor after hours.

The physicians also said the doctor relationship with existing patients would be violated by requirements to do abortions in their private practices.

"It's a complex issue. It's not just about a woman taking a pill and then leaving with the problem cured," Dr. Tim Ringrose, who works with a medical web site on the Internet, told the Telegraph newspaper.

Some of the doctors surveyed didn't want to take on doing abortions because of full schedules and a likely lack of government funding for doing them.

Pro-life groups have strongly opposed the proposal, which saw the British government conduct secret trials at physicians’ offices in recent weeks and could wind up having nurses administering the abortion drug or doing surgical abortions as well.

Julia Millington of the Pro-Life Alliance said the British government should instead be concentrating more on reducing the increasing number of abortions there. Recent figures in Scotland and England have shown the number of abortions on the rise despite the use of the morning after pill.

A Department of Health representative told the Telegraph the final decision on the abortions has not been made.

Of the 200,000 abortions that occur in England on an annual basis, about two-thirds of them are surgical abortions and the rest involve the dangerous RU 486 abortion drug that has killed thirteen women worldwide -- two in England -- and injured more than 1,100 women in the United States alone...

MATTERS OF LIFE AND DEATH
Sidewalk counselor's bones broken while on clinic duty
Man escorting women into abortion business knocks 69-year-old unconscious

January 1, 2008 WND

Pro-life activists are calling for an investigation into – and possibly prosecution of – police officers who responded to a severely injured abortion clinic sidewalk counselor, but then allowed his suspected attacker to leave the scene.

"It is unbelievable that an officer would allow an attacker to go free after inflicting life-threatening injuries on an elderly gentleman, then threaten to arrest the witness to the crime," said Troy Newman, president of Operation Rescue.

"That was not only unprofessional conduct, but it showed a fundamental lack of respect for Mr. Snell's life and beliefs. She should face serious discipline."

The attack happened just before Christmas, as Ed Snell, 69, was trying to counsel women entering the Hillcrest Abortion Center in Harrisburg, Pa., according to witnesses at the scene.

According to a report by the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property, the work of counselors such as Snell had been so effective at Hillcrest that the abortion business had built a 7-foot-tall privacy fence to prevent counselors from speaking to women entering the business.

So counselors started bringing ladders to see over the fence. Snell, however, built a platform on top of his vehicle in order to have a more stable location to stand.

John McTernan, a witness to the incident, said Snell tried to counsel a woman who got out of a vehicle and was going towards the abortion business with a man.

However, the man suddenly jumped the fence, "leaped on the vehicle with Ed and catapulted him off of the vehicle and onto the ground," he said. Snell landed on his back and head and was knocked unconscious, he said.

He was hospitalized with multiple trauma, bleeding in his head, compression fractures of four vertebrae, two broken ribs and a broken shoulder, the report said.

The problem escalated when three police officers who arrived on the scene to investigate allowed the attacker to leave, the report said. Even though the assailant still was in the business when officers arrived, and they were able to talk with him, they allowed the assailant and his companion to drive away, the report said.

The report said the following exchange then developed:

McTernan to police: "What are you doing? That's him! That's the assailant!"

Officer: "It is none of your business."

McTernan: "I am making it my business. Ed Snell is my good friend."

The officer then threatened to arrest McTernan, and he responded. "I want to know why the assailant walked away from this scene where an elderly man was left unconscious."

That was followed by another threat to arrest McTernan by the officer, who then drove away.

It wasn't until after the extent of Snell's injuries were documented by the hospital that the assailant was arrested, the report said. A WND call to the Harrisburg police department was referred to the mayor's office, and officials there did not return messages seeking a comment.

"I cannot imagine me [as a pro-lifer], striking someone connected with Hillcrest [Abortion Center], knocking them unconscious, the police coming, the injured person being taken away in an ambulance and the police letting me go," McTernan said. "There is something wrong with that."

The report also said pro-lifers asked the abortion business receptionist about the incident, and were told, "He got what he deserved."

Operation Rescue said the incident was another in a "growing list" of attacks on pro-life advocates in recent months.

Loki, I never expected there ever was a resolve to stick-to- it. You entered into a hopeless mission to excuse yourself from discussing tender, but major social issues that effects all of us.

I wish you a Happy New Year!

Are Your Smarter Than a 7th-Grader? What Pro-Life Teens Say About Abortion

by Maria Vitale January 5, 2008

..
7th and 8th graders say the most remarkable things. That truth is being borne out through some of the entries to the 2008 Pennsylvania Pro-Life Essay contest.

Students at St. Francis Xavier school in Gettysburg recently submitted their essays for the contest, which ends March 1st. Some of their insights are truly amazing.

Consider this analogy from a young man named Anthony:

"Just picture someone in your life that you could not love any more than you do now. Picture that person leaving their house or somewhere they were...just for a few minutes, possibly to go get something. You wait for them to get back, and after ten or so minutes of waiting for them you get worried. You go out to try and find that person but you cannot find them. You go back in and call the police and sooner or later there is a search party out looking for them.

"You are worried for them so much that you get no sleep that night, and early that morning you get news from the police that the one person you loved the most had been murdered by a man for no reason at all.

"I do not know how you would feel but I know I would be torn apart. It would feel so unfair to just about anyone, especially since the person who had murdered your loved one had no motive to kill them at all.

"This situation is no different than abortion..."

Or consider this insight about the Terri Schiavo case from a boy named Michael:

"(Terri) Schiavo as you may know was euthanized because she no longer had any worth to her husband."

And here's the reaction of a young man named Lance when he found out what abortion was all about:

"When you hear the word abortion you probably don't know what it is or means--well, at least I didn't. When I think of abortion, what comes to mind is...aborting a plan, or a mission. I had no idea it was what they were about to tell me, but then they told me. It was pretty upsetting when they told me abortion was giving up on a child and not letting a child be born and be like one of us on this earth. Letting one more kid on this earth is awesome because they could be a pro skateboarder, or find the cure for cancer..."

I'll end with this observation from a student named Shenandoah:

"There are several different ways to have an abortion. Let's get that several down to zero."

To me, the purpose of a Free Press is for reporting the progress of common initiatives. Only.

The source, you used above, has the unitary negative purpose of alleging wrongdoing where THEY deem it appropriate-and consequently may hurt reputations and damage social positions.

I'm not sure, but that YOUR purpose in posting on this decent site, has been not far off the accusatory mark. Starting with pictures of dead babies, or so characterized, and then exhibiting a mild sickness or 'itis' of 'griping' about others, which I'm afraid will never go away. I wish peace and happy pursuit for all including abortion providers, and their staff.
As a Christian, I will stand in your way at all times! I see bad things resulting from efforts such as yours!

Take the good with the bad, yourself!!

The "common initiative" absent of saving the lives of the unborn is very destructive for all society. The absence of millions of black people since R. v. W. needs to be reported by the FREE PRESS.

A black baby is three times more likely to be murdered in the womb than a white baby. Now you know what really is a unitary negative purpose covered over by the FREE PRESS and you want well-being for the exterminators??

More facts about the black genocide when good men do nothing:

"Twice as many African-Americans have died from abortion than have died from AIDS, accidents, violent crimes, cancer, and heart disease combined.

Every three days, more African-Americans are killed by abortion than have been killed by the Ku Klux Klan in its entire history.

Planned Parenthood operates the nation's largest chain of abortion clinics and almost 80 percent of its facilities are located in minority neighborhoods.

About 13 percent of American women are black, but they submit to over 35 percent of the abortions.

What the Ku Klux Klan Could Only Dream About
The Abortion Industry is Accomplishing "

More black women are dying from abortion related injuries than ever before. More women are dying from breast cancer and cervical cancer than ever before. A female is most vulnerable when she wants her unborn child to have life and the father does not want his baby to live.

More women than ever are ingesting steriods of birth control pills that will make them sick. More young females than ever are unprotected and impregregnated by predatory older men. These rapes are not reported by planned baron hood.

Women and children suffer serverly when good men do nothing!

quote:
Another part of the BlackGenocide.org website deals with "the targeting of black women by the abortion industry." According to the Alan Guttmacher Institute, the research arm of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, 94 percent of all abortion providers are located in metropolitan areas, which generally have high black populations.....

Since about one-third of all abortions are performed on black women, the abortion industry has received over $4 billion from the African-American community, he noted.

Childress was particularly critical of Planned Parenthood, not just as the nation's top abortion provider, but also because the organization operates a disproportionately high number of facilities in areas with large minority populations.
...

An analysis by the Cybercast News Service compared the location of Planned Parenthood abortion clinics with population data from the U.S. Census in 2000. The results appear to bolster the charge that the organization targets black communities.

You continually make excuses for your "silence" GoodBusiness while thousands of lives daily are being snuffed out, or intense grieving of the parents remembering the child(ren) that they harmed and were lied to about no consequences.

There are many and there are severe consequences for the blood shed of the unborn. It will be one of the root causes of the demise of our great nation if we do not stop the black genocide.

I'm not silent.

I'm not violent.

When one assesses something that is an impossiblilty (like how in the world could anyone DISagree with 'GG', 1) examine their background 2) examine their experience 3)evaluate their credibility.

It should be that liars were still being publically punished!

I would like to see you lose at whatever anarchical, fatalistic game you're playing!!

I hope you have the courage to break out of the mode that has imprisoned you, GoodBusiness.

I suppose, leaving aside the question of your ideologically-similar-comrades being arrested for violent crime...are you saying to me, your opponent, that I have," no choice(s) in life" which also implies no rules or anarchy...and that unless I agree to commit myself to your cause against the government, America can be nothing but a, "...prison..."?

My dear, we all see pain all around us. Subway workers agonize to treat riders like children, and bespeak the unspoken question of the ultimate worth of government service-as if they were between a rock and a hard place-because they can't grow up emotionally! They're too busy following orders-go here, go there, do this, do that....OR ELSE!!!

But let me remind you loud and clear of two things 1) It is NOT a 'crime' to oppose a particular law; for in that act you announce the number of days left in the law's life to your neighbors-for all them to see, to know, and to understand! 2) We do NOT need to overthrow the government itself, nor violate ONE STATUTE of its civility, for any reason...it is CLEAR to most folks that the Democratic Process is a just one, and that the crooked lines in the sidewalk, will someday be straight, if you only vote on election day, next year! Please understand, that I reserve all my rights, freedoms and liberties, in the meantime, while I look forward to a discussion, as long as this site functions, as to how soon we can mutually agree that that awful abortion law can be retired...that would be the first step, I suppose.

You speak in a manner that wants to complicate. Either a person is "other centered" or they are not.

Violence to end the violence in abortion killing centers is wrong! It is totally in opposition to building the 'culture of life'. Criminal actions against abortionist were not connected with any pro life organizations. However, they have been conveniently trumpeted by the media and the pro abortion/planned baron hoods of the world.

Violence to end the killings of the unborn is unequivocally condemned!

Are you ever going to work to hand the planned baronhoods a crushing defeat? YES OR NO? Are you going to work to stop the genocide of black babies? YES OR NO?

Are you going to expose the party that has been silent and supports the 40 MILLION babies exterminated since R.v. W. 1973 and of which a proportionately greater percentage of black babies, 13 MILLION were slaughtered?

Will your presidential vote reflect a vote for life or vote for the continual slaughter of the unborn and the certain death of our nation?
